Real camera (not phone if avoidable) → plain wall → dark clothes → 6–8 ft away → flash on → head straight, no glasses.

USE: A real digital camera, 20+ megapixels. A modern phone in good light is OK if a camera isn't available.
DON'T: low-res webcam · old phone · screenshot of another photo · cropped social-media pic.

USE: Plain wall, single color, light or neutral. Wear dark clothing for contrast against the wall.
DON'T: patterned walls · outdoor scenes · light clothing on a light wall · people/objects in shot.

Keep face and hair neat. Hair behind the ears, off the eyes. Don't smile big — closed mouth, slight neutral expression.

- Balanced lighting — no yellow/red tint, no harsh shadows on your face
- Camera at eye level — not below or above

✍️ SIGNATURE GUIDELINES
Wrong pen = your order gets sent back. Read this once, get it right, move on.
Black Sharpie Fine Point → plain white printer paper → sign your full name ~5 cm wide → phone flat above the paper → daylight.
🖊️ 1. The pen — most rejections happen here
USE: Sharpie Fine Point (the regular black Sharpie, round tip, "Sharpie" printed on the barrel). Costs about $2 at any Walmart, CVS, or stationery shop.
DON'T USE:
❌ Chisel-tip / fat marker ❌ Ballpoint ❌ Gel pen ❌ Fineliner ❌ Highlighter ❌ Permanent marker
If you have to ask "is this a Sharpie?" — it's not. Go buy one.
📄 2. The paper
USE: Plain white printer paper. Blank. Letter-size or A4.
DON'T USE: notebook paper with lines · receipt paper · napkins · colored paper · cardboard · whatever else is on your desk.
✏️ 3. The actual signature
Sign your full name like you'd sign a credit-card receipt — same style and slant as the signature on your real ID.

DON'T: sign too small, scribble a squiggle, do initials only, or trace over the same line twice.
📷 4. The photo
- Phone directly above the paper — flat, not tilted
- Paper fills most of the frame
- Good daylight or a bright lamp — no hand shadow on the signature
- Sharp focus — if it looks blurry on your screen, retake it
🚫 5. Auto-reject — signatures to skip
- 📱 A photo of your phone screen showing the signature — photograph the paper, not the screen
- 👕 Paper pressed against your shirt, lap, or blanket — lay it flat on a table
- 📐 Tilted, skewed, or cropped so we can only see half
- 🌫️ Blurry, dark, or shadowed
- ✏️ Anything that's not in black Sharpie

- Is the pen clearly a Sharpie Fine Point?
- Is the background pure white with no lines or shadows?
- Can you read every letter of your name?
- Is the photo flat and sharp, taken directly above?
All 4 = yes → SEND. Any "no" → retake before sending.
A bad photo or signature = +24 hours waiting for a resend. We see thousands a week and can tell the wrong pen in 2 seconds. Save us both the back-and-forth.
